ProSound opened its door in the mid 80’s and was owned and operated by a husband & wife team. The store was originally located at the front of the plaza but moved to its current location in 1996 because the space was larger.
ProSound changed ownership numerous times over the years. In 2009, Rich purchased the business and was ready to make it his own. Now, Rich and his wife, Alison, work together at building their business as well as building relationships.
Rich Levesque
At the age of 14, Rich became interested in car audio. He read car audio magazines and visited local install shops with the desire to learn as much as he could. Rich eventually started to work in his own vehicle and then was confident enough to work of friends cars.
In 1994, at the age of 21 a local shop hired Rich as an installer and his passion now became his career. Rich worked his way up from installer to manager and eventually owner.
It’s a wonderful feeling to wake up each day and love what you do.
Alison Levesque
Alison never imagined she would working in car audio! Alison told Rich that if he needed to hire and train someone to work, it might as well be her! And that is what she has done. She is a hands-on type of person who isn’t afraid to get a little dirty.
Alison grew up in Andover, MA. Her family owned and operated Robichaud Hardware in Methuen where she worked for many years. Alison was also a supervisor at Bulger Animal Hospital in North Andover.
Rich and Alison live in Methuen, MA. They have 2 beautiful children. Their daughter is in college and their son is in grammar school.
